Political_BiasMost of my life the ABC has been regarded by most people as the left Wing media and talk back radio as the vanguard of the Right. However the past year I have noticed a marked increase in the battle lines being drawn in the Media with programmes and publications moving away from fact and toward a slanted point of view.

It is becoming harder and harder to get simple news that has not been washed with the colours of a political party. Are we just following the US Path of totally partisan Media? I hope not...I just wish that news services would just give us the news and not their opinion.

US Republican NomineesI am a great admirer of the United States and often take an interest in their affairs which lead me today to Fox News and the Republican Presidential Nominee Debates and .....WOW.

The number of candidates who spoke of the unity with Israel and labeled Iran as the number one enemy of the US was astounding with only Congressman Ron Paul argued the point of quitting an aggressive foreign policy and focusing on issues that will actually affect the American people.

immigration_ukBritish Society is rather Unique in the world. It is a nation that has been extraordinarily successful over the past 1000 years in that it has not been conquered by another nation, it has been the birth place of much of the world sports, institutions, language and culture. For me this is on large part due to its ability to stay on course by having pressure valves for its society. That is those parts of society that often lead to the crumbling from the bottom up have largely failed to affect Britain in the past due to its ability to 'offload' these sectors of it society.

the house in surryhillsI read of a woman who was found in an Inner Sydney Flat and appears to be that of the owner who has not been heard from for over 8 years. The reason it 'appears' to be the owner is because the body is so decayed and their is no dental or denture identification available for the decayed corpse.

It is my greatest fear to end my life this way....alone and without anything or anyone noticing. I am not religious so it is not about where my carcass ends up. It is perhaps a narcissism to want to have been noticed that I lived.

You probably live under a rock if you have not seen the beautiful reunion of 'Christian' the Lion on Youtube and its many other proliferation, it followed the story of two young Australians John and Ace in London who bought a lion from a department store and then were helped to rehabilitate it in Africa when they realised as an adult it would be impossible to have as a pet in their apartment.
