Share with Dave some of the highlights of an almost reluctant TV career.

Coming to public notice by surviving 99 days on Big Brother 2006, Dave was able to promote two of his passions.

Highlighting the effects of the worst drought in history on our farmers and the need to end homophobia and self hatred for young people.

On a personal level, achieving the acceptance his family and the broader community and a personal acceptance of his own sexual identity.

Dave has appeared on more shows then you can 'poke a stick at' such as Australia's Brainiest (which he won), Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars, Sunrise, Ready Steady Cook, The Morning Show, 9AM, A Current Affair, Today Tonight, Deal or No Deal, Ch10's NYE Special, Foxtel's 'The Singing Office and most recently Dave was the subject of the documentary series 'Australian Story'.

His dancing talents (hmm - thats stretching it) on Big Brother put him in great physical shape for Dancing with the Stars 2007....here is a peek back at 2006

He managed to last on the extraordinarily popular series of DWTS for eight weeks, thanks to viewer appreciation of his valiant efforts if not his skills. He was able to raise funds for drought relief and again highlight the effects of the drought on farmers...and maybe show people that sometimes being a good bloke can be just as good as a great dancer.
