Only a couple of years ago Barnaby Joyce was Pillowed for suggesting that a western economy could go into default not long after that he lost his position as Shadow Finance Minister. Howled down as being an alarmist and someone with little knowledge of the Financial Markets, it seems incredible that those who took that bat to Barnaby are not so forthcoming with their criticisms of President Obama, who in the past few weeks has suggested that it is the United States of America that may be unable to pay its welfare recipients and default on its massive debts.

There is no winners in the spat between  the Republicans and Democrats who both seem hell bent on the election prospects rather then the US and subsequently the World Economy, except maybe Barnaby Joyce who no doubt is allowing himself some smirks when dealing with those in the media and opposing benches who reckoned someone so high up as him could say such things about defaulting.
