Triple M confusion over Eddie McGuire "land of falafel" jibe

WHAT THE FUCK? Eddie McGuire, Mr Channel 9, King of Collingwood Footy Club, Westie from Melbourne etc etc had a bit of on air banter with Kevin Sheedy the former Essendon Coach and now head cheer leader for the new Western Sydney Giants which resulted in McGuire giving the jibe that Sheedy was now in the 'land of the falafal'.

All hell broke lose with every wanker known to man putting his two bobs worth in at how racist the jibe was.

Seriously FUCK OFF.... racist???? PUUULEASE!

IF it wasn't for the 80th time I heard it on the ABC today whilst driving between appointments I'd have thought I'm just being silly in noticing the story.

As a Queenslander we are called Bannana Benders from Pumpkin Scone Country.... I wear that with pride....any tosser that has an issue with a his region being synonmous with a popular food from that area needs to have a long hard look at themselves.

So UnAustralian to be taking offence at such an Australian thing to do.... giving nickname to an area..... Sometimes I really do wonder where these clowns hide their sense of humour.
